About Me
Alexandra Thompson (she/her) is a writer, editor, and strategist with a background in public health, communications, and research consulting. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University and a Master of Public Health from Columbia University, where she focused on health systems, policy, and cultural discourse.

Her early career spanned public health communications, strategic consulting, and community-based initiatives—experiences that sharpened her ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives and manage cross-sector projects with care and intention.

Today, Alexandra is building a creative career rooted in editorial strategy, narrative insight, and cultural storytelling. As she expands her portfolio and explores new forms—from essays to film and digital media—her work is grounded in a central question: how do stories reflect, reinforce, and reimagine the world we live in. She is especially drawn to the intersections of culture, media and entertainment, politics, and health—where narrative meets power, identity, and collective memory.

She’s always interested in projects that bridge disciplines, deepen public understanding, and use storytelling as a tool for reflection, imagination, and change.
